ENSO Influences

It has been suggested that during El Nino events, temperatures in Uruguay rise while during La Nina events, temperatures fall. The graph illustrates average high temperatures for the months of January, February, September and October during recent El Nino, La Nina and average years. Although some slight generalizations might be made, the average temperature difference seems negligible.
